We’ve all heard it before—there’s no one-size-fits-all routine for success. And it’s true! What works for one person may not work for the next. But, after years of trial and error, I’ve found that creating a personalised success-boosting routine has been a game-changer for me—and it can be for you too!
The tools I’ve picked up over time can be dipped into daily (or not), depending on what resonates with you. But when I first started, I made sure to practice them consistently until they became second nature. And guess what? It worked! Here's a sneak peek into how I built my routine and how you can do the same.
How I Built My Success Routine
I’d start my day early, spending about 20 minutes in my office. I’d look at my dream board, visualise my goals, repeat my affirmations, and meditate. In the evening, I’d wind down by reading something inspiring, practicing gratitude, and following a sleep-friendly routine. Over time, these practices became ingrained in my day-to-day life, even when I didn’t need to do them every day. Now, I can tap into these tools whenever I need them—just like riding a bike!

Your Own Success-Boosting Routine
Here’s the fun part: building your own routine. While there’s no strict formula, the key is committing to the process. So, even when life gets busy (and we know it will), sticking to these practices will help you stay on track. Ready to get started? Here’s how:
Action Items to Build Your Success Routine:
Stay Focused on Your "Why" - Why do you want to be successful? Maybe it’s financial freedom, more family time, or being your own boss. Pin down your why and keep it front and centre. It’ll keep you motivated on those tough days.
Create a Dream Board - Visualise your future! Whether it’s a list of goals or a board full of aspirational pictures (your dream home, vacation spots, etc.), place it somewhere you’ll see it daily. Seeing is believing!
Carve Out Time for Your Routine - Find 15–20 minutes to practice these rituals, whether it’s morning, lunch break, or bedtime. Make it your time to focus on visualising, affirmations, or meditation.
Build Momentum with Small Wins - Start small. Use visualisation and affirmations to manifest a smaller goal. Achieving it will give you the boost to tackle bigger goals!
Consider Life or Accountability Coaching - Working with a life coach has helped me stay focused, and an accountability coach keeps me on track with my goals. If you can, it’s worth the investment!
Be Kind to Yourself - We all slip up—don’t be hard on yourself when things don’t go according to plan. Recommit, focus on what you’ve already achieved, and stay positive. Your mindset shapes your reality.
Verbalise Your Intentions - Share your goals with loved ones! Telling others keeps you accountable and motivates you to stick to your promises. Sometimes, a little peer pressure works wonders!
Staying Motivated
Starting these practices is the easy part, but sticking with them? That’s the real challenge. The trick is keeping your motivation high, especially when your to-do list feels overwhelming. Follow these action steps, stay focused on your “why,” and watch how your success routine transforms your life.
Big goals ahead—let’s make them happen!
